Medication Aide Education Program (Med-Tech Training)

The Medication Aide Training consists of 68 contact hours. The program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing. A successful completion of this course will qualify students to take the State Board exam for Registered Medication Aides in the state of Virginia. Registered Mediation Aides may assist in the administration of oral medications, inhalers, ear drops, eye drops, skin patches, blood sugar checks, and insulin injections in Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Day Care Centers, and Group Home Settings.

Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. This is a 4 week program. Please Call the Office for more information about the next upcoming class.

Admissions Process: Complete the Med-Tech registration form with the amount of $75. Registration payment must be received three days prior to the first day of class. Please note that cancellation made three days before start date will be fully refunded.

Cost: Tuition: $695. In order to secure a space in the class, deposit must be sent. We accept most forms of credit cards. Flexible payment is available. Payment Plan: $250 down by the first day of class then $125 weekly.
