Discover the Nursing Program from Our Nursing School
The Practical Nursing Education Program consists of approximately 1,372 contact hours. The program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing. A successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN). The Standard Healthcare Services, Inc. Practical Nursing Education Program's mission is to provide the classroom instructions and nursing skills necessary for competent and compasionate entry-level Licensed Practical Nurses in the healthcare field.
Schedule: Day program are held Monday to Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. This is a 12-month course program.
Evening Program are held Monday to Thursday from 4:00 to 10:00 P.M. This is a 12-month course program.
Weekend Program are held Fridays from 4:00 to 9:30 P.M., Saturdays 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Sundays 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. This is a 15-month course program.
Admission Process: Please complete the LPN Application Form and submit it with the amount of $75. The $75 includes the cost of the entrance exam (NET). Once the application is received you will be notified of the date of the next entrance exam.

Entrance Exam: Upon submission of registration form with entrance exam payment, students will be notified in confirmation letter of next scheduled entrance exam date. The entrance exam is held for 3 hours. Prep material for the exam can be purchase from Educational Resources, Inc.™ (ERI), by going on their website or by calling 1(800) 292-2273.
Cost: Tuition: $8,995. Additional Books: $500. We offer 2 tuition payment options. Interest-free payment plan consists of a $2500 down payment prior to the beginning of class, then $585 per month. We now also allow students to apply for the Career loan through Sallie Mae™. Applicants applying for loans should schedule appointment with the director.
