The Practical Nursing Education Program consists of approximately 1,280 contact hours. The program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing. A successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN). The Standard Healthcare Services, Inc. Practical Nursing Education Program's mission is to provide the classroom instructions and nursing skills necessary for competent and compasionate entry-level Licensed Practical Nurses in the healthcare field. Schedule:
Our Day Program is scheduled to start July 09, 2012. Classes are held Monday to Thursday from 8am to 2pm. The program runs for about 12 months.
Our Evening Program is scheduled to start April 16, 2012. Classes are held Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 10pm. The program runs for about 12 months.
Our Weekend Program is scheduled to begin September 07, 2012. Classes are held on Fridays, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturdays, from 8am to 3pm, and Sundays, from 2pm to 8pm. The Weekend Program runs for about 16 months.

Admission Process: Please complete the LPN Application Form and submit it with the amount of $75. The $75 includes the cost of the entrance exam. Once the application is received you will be notified. Please (Click Here) to view and print the LPN Program Registration Form

| Entrance Exam: Upon submission of registration form with the $75.00 application fee, applicants will be sent a confirmation letter. The applicant may call the office to make an appoinment to take the entrance exam between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. For preparation for the entrance exam, we recommend "Nursing School Entrance Exam" book by Learning Express ISBN 978-1-57685-481-5 or you may also pick up a package from the office with sample questions.. |
